Rx4Prevention is a full-spectrum management solution for vaccination of adult patients in long-term care facilities, workplace environments, and other community settings. Each client’s profile is measured against Center for Disease Control’s vaccination recommendations for screening, education, and consent acknowledgement. Focused mass vaccination clinics are arranged on site as needed for seasonal vaccinations, such as influenza.

Rx4Prevention focuses on the following common vaccines:

  • Influenza
  • Shingles
  • Pneumonia
  • Hepatitis
  • Tetanus
  • Diptheria
  • Pertussis
  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)

However, other vaccines can be administered. Some may require a physician’s prescription, and
Rx4Prevention can manage proper authorization.

Rx4Prevention uses cutting-edge technology for the storage and maintenance of vaccines, and in fact, exceeds guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The cold chain is guaranteed by our investments in technology, using CDC-certified, lab quality refrigerator-freezers in the pharmacy. Temperatures are constantly monitored by real time data loggers on the refrigerator-freezer units. The end result is complete documentation from the time the vaccine is received until the time the injection is given.

Rx4Prevention submits claims to third-party payers, thus eliminating the need for additional paperwork to be handled by the facility’s medical or administrative staff. Rx4Prevntion submits claims to more than 200 third-party payers, including Medicare Part B and Iowa Medicaid. Claims can be submitted on site at the time the vaccinations are given.
